  • Words in the Title: searches for words (in any order) in the title, series title, etc. of the CD, cassette, music score or songbook. Ex.: magical mystery tour or best of broadway or marriage of figaro. For a more complete search for album or songbook contents, search as keywords in Advanced Search and limit by material type. Note that only a small percentage of songbook contents can be searched online. For information on how to access thousands of songs using another song index, contact the AMHL desk at the Main Library.
  • Composer/Performer: searches for CDs, cassettes, or printed music (scores) by artist, performer or composer. Ex.: beatles or presley, elvis or mozart.
  • Type of music. searches words in all fields (in any order)  Ex.: guitar instruction or piano music or symphonies.
  • Refine Your Search: You can click to check or uncheck CDs, Cassettes or Printed Music (scores) to focus on one or more types of material.
