If you don't have a PIN, enter any combination of four or more numbers to create a new PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, staff at any Oakland Public Library service desk can clear it. To safeguard your security, staff will need a current picture ID or your address, birth date and your library card. Staff cannot tell you your old PIN number because it is encrypted. You will need to repeat the procedure for creating a new PIN. To protect your privacy, library staff cannot clear a PIN by telephone or e-mail request. You must visit Oakland Public Library in person.
